Kindergarten-Grade 1 Review

At the heart of this endeavor is our commitment to fully evaluate his overall level of proficiency, his interests and uniqueness as an individual throughout the experience.

This is an enrichment and review program for children 3 to 4 years old and above preparing for the Kindergarten or Grade 1 admissions test to public and private schools.  It aims for each child to:

  • Develop fine motor skills, listening skills and oral communication skills.
  • Acquire Reading, Language and Math readiness skills
  • Develop reasoning and thinking ability
  • Appreciate his innate talents and ability to learn things on his own

Our review uses varied and interesting materials that are child-appropriate, interesting to the child and will enable him to acquire important skills necessary to be successful in school.  At the heart of this endeavor is our commitment to fully evaluate his overall level of proficiency, his interests and uniqueness as an individual throughout the experience.  It is important to us that young children, at this early age, are encouraged to speak, think and find joy in learning as they learn.

The materials used in the enrichment program have been developed and improved and used by VEA Learning in preparing three to four year olds throughout the years.  From these guided classroom activities, the book THINK AND LEARN was conceived when the children would clamor for more drills and exercises and the tutors would find themselves hurriedly creating more for them. Imagine the excitement when soon after the children would be urging us for “more challenge, teacher!”
